    Against another dragon, a dragon breath inflicts 5 (10 for a White Dragon) points of damage; roll the dragon again and apply the new result as well.

    If breath is rolled in an attack against an army:

    • Five health-worth of units in the army are killed.
    • The elemental breath effect from the list below is applied, according to the elements of the dragon.

  • Lightning Bolt

    Air dragon breath effect

    The army’s melee results are halved until the beginning of its next turn. Results are rounded down.

  • Dragon Plague

    Death dragon breath effect

    The army ignores all of its ID results until the beginning of its next turn.

  • Petrify

    Earth dragon breath effect

    The army’s maneuver results are halved until the beginning of its next turn. Results are rounded down.

  • Poisonous Cloud

    Water dragon breath effect

    The army’s missile results are halved until the beginning of its next turn. Results are rounded down.

  • Dragon Fire

    Fire dragon breath effect

    Roll the units killed by this dragon’s breath attack. Those that do not generate a save result are buried.

  • Life Drain

    Ivory dragon breath effect

    No additional effect.

  • Terrain Empathy

    White dragon breath effect

    An additional five health-worth of units in the army are killed. The army suffers the colored breath effects of both colors of the terrain.
